Where the hell did ‘Ryce’ come from, you ask?
‘Ryce’ was a nickname given to me when I was eleven. I used to go by this name a lot, and some people only knew me by this name. It’s just a constant reminder of the friends that I’ve made and lost, though few people refer to me as ‘Ryce’ nowadays.

just north of Charlotte, NC
I thoroughly enjoy listening to music, preferably of bands and artists with female vocalist(s): Amanda Palmer, Anthon Wellsjö, Aphex Twin, Asobi Seksu, Azealia Banks, Bassnectar, The Cardigans, CocoRosie, Cœur de pirate, DatsiK, Deadmau5, The Dresden Dolls, Ellie Goulding, Fiona Apple, Kate Nash, Kid Sister, Lady Gaga, Lana Del Rey, Lily Allen, Lykke Li, M.I.A., No Doubt, Robyn, Rye Rye, Sia, Skrillex, Sleigh Bells, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs (to name a few).
Unless you really know me, I keep to myself. But at night I like to go to the club.
I appreciate a good drive with a friend, or by myself. I also like spending my time at cafes, alone. I like to read books by Haruki Murakami. I’m intrigued by authors like Virginia Woolf. I pick up photography from time-to-time. I take on a lot of responsibility at school. I also like to write for fun: English is one of the most colorful palettes I’ve ever encountered.
I pride myself in being thoughtful, careful, and sincere. My biggest flaws are my criticism, pessimism, worries.
It’s difficult for me to trust people, but if I consider you my friend, I really do love you with every bit of life in my body.
